MSCS + NLB on the same server.

I want to network load balance my server running MSCS. I know Microsoft says it is not supported on the same server, but can it be done?
I can’t seem to make it work. Any ideas?
I have checked all Technet newsgroups and there is no thread about this; so I’m trying here.
