MSDOS 6.22 problem

Installed MSDOS 6.22 on 133 Mhz w/48M memory.
Receiving error
Invalid device request reading dev CON
ABORT, RETRY,IGNORE,FAIL?
Required parameter missing.

I have never seen this one… any fixes… thoughts..
