Msdtcw

After installing PWS on win98SE I keep getting a fault on start up of this machine.
I am wondering if I remove it from the registry as follows:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] and removed the entire key “MSDTC”=”msdtcw -start”
will I be able to run a PWS?
