MSIE 6 Child Windows

When clicking on a link in MSIE 6 Browser window, the frame for the child or pop-up window appears but is blank. This happens on not all but many links that creat new or chils windows. Anybody have any thoughts. It was suggested that if I had a third party screen reader that might be the problem. I don’t think I do. Have no idea how to check.
