msnp32.dll fix

by dainley . Updated 24 years, 4 months ago

Somehow, I deleted “Network Neighborhood” from my computer running Windows 95. I am trying to network a computer with XP (Home) with this older system. When I set up just the “networking” client through the Networking icon in the Control Panel, itsearched for many files, and found them in the CAB …but could not find the msnp32.dll. It is not in my system folder in Windows, either. I have run Norton Registry Editor, and a “FIND” on the system for the dll file, and it found it in 7 different places. But that doesn’t help me, because I don’t know what I am doing in there…!
Is there a simple download fix? or is there someone who can give me step by step instructions to get this back in the system so I can get Windows Networking upand running??
