MSProxy Winsock DNS Problem

We have MSProxy 2.0 SP1, IIS4, internal and external DNS (key component).

We are having problems with DNS resolutions.

If the microsoft proxy client is installed, all dns queries go directly to the proxy server. If you remove the microsoft proxy client, the TCP/IP DNS entries are used. Is there any way to keep MS proxy client installed without MS Proxy Client from intercepting and redirecting my DNS queries from my internal DNS server to the proxy server, which also has our external DNS server on it?
