Multi Ethernet cards

I have installed 3 ethernet cards in one PC (using Windows 98 SE operating system) with 3 different IP address (actually it will connect to 3 different networks). However, only two ethernet cards are connected to the network successfully. One of them is failed.

Can Windows 98 support 3 ethernet cards which connect to different LAN?
