Multi Homed Laptop

I have a user(windows 2000 Pro) that needs to connect to our network(dhcp) and another (non-dhcp) network. Is there any way to make it so he doesn’t have to change the IP address himself? I tried setting up another hardware profile however any changes to IP address are visible throughout all profiles.
