Multiboot XP(home)/2000;Sys Restore

I already have WIn XP Home Edition running on my PC, I would like to multiboot my system with Win 2000 Pro or Server but I no longer have my original XP disc. Can I load Win2k onto my system while XP is already installed and use System Restore if I experience any problems with my XP after Win2k is installed? How can I make this multiboot go smoothly?
