Multihome NT Workstation

I’ve multihomed an NT workstation, SP6a. One NIC going out to a VPN server, the other out the gateway to the WWW.The VPN must use the remote gateway. I can get out to the VPN and I can see the LAN, but I can’t get out to the WWW and the VPN at the same time. Can this be done? If so, then how.
