multilinked modems through rras

one of my LANs (siteA) is pretty remote and we are using multilinked modems to establish a connection to another site SiteB. I had to reinstall these modems, they are installed using RRAS and the connection in RRAS is configured to use multiple lines ( thus a multilink) each modem has its own phone line. However when I trigger a dial either one modem will connect or the other, they can?t seem to connect together or rather bind. Which leaves me with a bandwidth between sites of only about 40. Any ideas why I can?t get them to bind. They did before..
