Multiple cd burners

Multiple CD burners
Having found myself with several, now redundant CD burners i find myself ooking for a use for them.
As i do a lot of audio backups, having six mobile Disco’s on the road i am considering building a standalone mutiple burner but havent the faintest idea as to how to start!
The project alone will be an enjoyable challenge and learning task.
Can anyone help with info or a point in the right direction as to where i might find out more about this please
