I need to know how to modify our database system to allow for multiple staff members to be in ** comfortably ** at the same time.
Currently more than one person may go in and make changes as long as they are not on the same record. However, if someone tries to exit the database, the others have to get out too in order for the person exiting to save changes. This is affecting work flow and serves to discourage staff from doing their own updates to the database. What can I do so that we canstill have multiple staff in making changes to the database without requiring others to exit in order when each individual needs to save and logout?
We are using MS Access 97.
