My CDRW reads a blank CD as Audio

Whenever I put a blank cd into my rewritable drive, My Computer displays an Icon and list it as an Audio CD. If you open it, it shows Track01 with a label Audio CD. I have changed out the drive from a Matshita to a NEC and still same results. It is a Master on the Primary using an Ultra DMA Ribbon. My boot disk is a ATA100 on a Raid Controller.
Help if you can.
