My Computer Toolbar

I know this is a dumb question.

Is it possible to create a toolbar of My Computer that shows drive mappings, etc on the desktop with Windows95 OS?

I know it’s possible on Windows98 by left clicking on My Computer and dragging it to the side of the desktop.
