“My Computer” window slow to populate on startup.. XP pro..

XP pro working fine for months. Then secondary FAT32 drive failed. Had backup of duff drive so reformated drive as NTFS. Drive works fine but Since then, when I startup the computer it takes about 4 mins to populate “My Computer” window. This only ocours on startup and never ocoured before. Any Ideas?
