My dvd-rom….

i cant use my dvd-rom at all… i’ve got an HP pavilion slimline s7510n and the drive just stopped working.. my computer doesnt read that there is a drive there. i can open it, put disks in, all that stuff but the disks wont load. any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
