Heres what i have!
— I have win2k adv server setup on one of my machines (not configured for DC) with a dial up connection to the net.
–Four client machines running along side (8 port Hub), all in same workgroup(workgroup)
— I have a domain registered (www.mydomain.co.uk) and would like to use this domain name where possible when i set up my DC.
How could i utilise what i have and setup up my machines in a client/server environment which would allow me to use DHCP and DNS which would be set up on the DC and also allow my clients to access the internet?
As far as i understand the implementing of ICS wouldnt be an option running on the same machine with DHCP and DNS on the same network,also would i be right in saying that if i was to use NAT this would also conflict with DHCP and or would i have to ad another NIC to my DC to implement this?
What im looking for here is to set up the DC with DHCP and DNS running and allow all my clients access to the internet through this machine.
I dont have any option at the moment of running another machine as a member server but if the solution to this requires this then i need all the info on this too.
