my scanner problem

i have got intel 800Mhz computer
then i bought a plustek scanner when i plug the scanner i get many problems like illigal messages,windows protection error,problem with windows regestry,norton ani viruse couldn’t be loaded,…etc
i tried to indtall the scanner in a another compuer it worked proply
so what is rong with my computer
