mysterious drive mappings

hi all

I recently mapped a drive to a network share on a server in windows explorer as g: on win2k sp2. After this, additional drive mappings (d, e, f,h,i,j) to the same network share started appearing. I disconnected these drive mappings but they keep appearing.

I’ve checked HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Network\Persistent Connections] but couldn’t find the entries that relate to the drive mappings.

I’ve also tried deleting the extra drive mappings in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Explorer\Mountpoints] but they reappear as soon as i delete them.
