NAS Usage

We use the Dell Nas units in our systems. Our network is completely IP using hosts tables, no DHCP servers. Unfortunately the Dell units do not support (at least not that we can find) host tables. This causes a problem if the connection goes downto the servers, they start broadcasting the network. What we have done to somewhat alleviate this is to enter a WINS server address. Any other ideas?
