NAV 2000 Version 6.0

I’m installing NAV 2000 (v6.0) on a Win2K Pro computer and getting the following errors on booting Win2k:
Failed the call to NavStatInit
then:
Unable to get drive status.

I’ve unsinstalled, reinstalled and been to the Symantec site; same errors appear every time. NAV installes but with a red “x” on top of it. Auto-protect of e-mail will not work and usually crashes the computer.

The Symantec site suggests that they should be working together even though this NAV is a slight bit old.I cannot find these specific errors on the Symantec site. I have been working on this for awhile. HELP!
