Navision or Not

I’m considering shortlisting Navision as a replacement for our R/3 system as it appears to better fit our business in terms of scale and cost but I have two major concerns.

1) I’ve heard from a number of sources that Microsoft is developing its own Business Solution with the intention that all the existing products (Navision, Solomon, Great Plains) will be wound down.

2) General support for Navision seems to be poor. I recently spent several hours looking for technical articles, forums etc. relating to Navision with little success. If I search for SAP on amazon I see stacks of books, but not so for Navision

Am I missing something?
