NEC printers hang NT Workstations

We are running an NT 4.0 network and share NEC 1260N laser printers off varioius NT 4.0 workstations. Occassionally, the workstation with the printer will halt (blue screen) when another workstation tries to print to it. I have downloaded drivers fron NEC but there are more than a year old
