need help!!!

Recently i brought a 14GB hard disk,and try to installed Win Nt in it by following one of the tips provided by the forum.i fix up the hard disk on a working NT Server and make use of the disk administrator to partition the whole hard disk to NTFS,HO..wrong move.Something happen during the installation and NT couldn’t find the hard disk(IDE).i plugged back the default running disk, go to disk administrator and delete the whole NTFS file system and try to format it,but keep getting error that thesystem cannot format the hard disk.any suggestion?
