Need help Urgently with Booting a machine

OK Here’s my problem. I was running symantec ghostcast from a laptop to 4 machines. Unfortunatly the ghostcast session crashed. So I decided to do it the old fashioned way and install XP from the CD. Now all 4 machines wont read from the CD, the Hard Drive or the floppy dirve. All it says when you try and boot up off either is A disk read error occured pres CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart.
