Need more help on possible virus!!!

Thanks alot, it did help, but now I need more.. after trying to edit command.com (bad command or file name) I did a dir/p on the c:\ drive. Here is what I found, all the files and directories on the drive had been renamed. Example:

command.com tocommaod! com
windows

Is there a fix for this short of reformatting the drive and starting over. I realize this would be a good lesson to the end-user to keep all inportamt info on the server that is backed up nightly but it is a sheriff computer with lots of important info on it. Can anyone help. Many thanks in advanced!
