Need to track down NP Pool leak on Win2k
I have three servers at a very remote location with no remote management capability. All of them get a maximum of 3 days uptime before random errors occur and they bluescreen. The problem has been traced tothe non-paged pool being increased enormously (ie, 100, 150, 200 MB) over the 3 days or less. What can I do over the phone with the administrator to find out what is causing this? Task Manager shows the NP pool is huge but does not show what processis using it. The listed processes only add up to about 14MB or so of NP pool. Procexp from sysinternals doesn’t give info in table format and it will not log properly to show trends. Performance monitor may be too complex for the remote administrator.
I think what I need is a program that will log all requests regarding the NP pool and say what process and what file is making the request.
