Need to uninstall XP Media Center

I need to uninstall Media Center to do a clean install of XP Pro. Microsoft said I can’t use install Pro over Media Center, and I need to sign on to the domain at my work with this computer. I tried Add/Remove Programs and booting with an MS-DOS floppy and running fdisk and diskpart. Neither worked. Any suggestions?
