Net Bios naming

Hi there,

I have installed a Windows 2000 server in one of our sites, it is the first site that has a 2000 server. I set it up as a domain, with active dir installed & wins “Users at other sites connect to it”. All clients connect using wins addressing no problem. Where I work there are seperate organizations with seperate Finance / budget depts and want nothing to do with each other, but inside of these organizations there are depts that do work with each other. All organizations areconnected with a WAN line. Now one of the other organizations wants to get a Windows 2000 server at their site, but do not want to be in the same Domain as the one that I just setup. I am afraid that this will create headaches for me, what do you think? maybe I won’t install Active Dir on this one, will this help?
