Netbios error 640

I receive a “NetBios Error 640” when trying to dial into an NT 4.0 Ras Server. I looked at Microsofts site, and it states that it can be caused by line noise. I have tried multiple lines, and reduced my intial connection speed to 9600 to no avail. Any suggestions?
