NET.EXE

When setting up windows XP machine’s we (randomly) have net.exe running in the background. Whether straight from Dell with XP loaded or after a format and reload. When it is running adobe reader and enzip (similar to winzip) will not load. Setup.exewill stay in processes but just sits there. The minute we kill net.exe setup will continue and work fine. After reboot adobe(works randomly from machine to machine) and enzip will not work until net.exe process is killed again. Other than writing a script to kill it on boot up any body have any ideas?
