We?ve been having a problem with one Dom-A PDC generating errors (3210) indicating it can?t authenticate to the PDC of the other domain. The PDC Dom-B gets error 5722, which indicates the session setup from the other computer failed to authenticate.
I?ve gone over the MS site looking for a resolution, and their write-up #Q142869 covers a very similar issue with a PDC and BDC in the same domain. They say it can be resolved by synchronizing one with the other on the Server Manager. I can see the other domain PDC from the corp PDC in Server Manager. Could you tell me if the proposed synchronization would work in this instance as well, or could it upset the ?bottom? PDC? If so, which server should I synchronize from (where 3210 is appearing or 5722)? If not, would you have any suggestions for resolving the problem? Perhaps I should just remove the trust, and redo it to knock some sense into these boxes.
