Netmeeting

In netmeeting.
Both parties can recieve/send video ok.
The other party can also hear my voice.
However I cannot hear the other party.
The soundcard and speakers are working fine as i can play music CD’s
Can anyone offer some suggestions as to why I cannot hear the other party either through the speakers or headphones?
