NetMeeting Service Fails when Started

I’m running Windows 2000 Pro SP2. When I try to turn on Remote Desktop Sharing, it fails about 5 seconds after I turn it on with the following error message:

mnmsrvc.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.

The event log shows EventID: 7031; The NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing service terminated unexpectedly.

I have gone through the RDS wizard as the local administrator. I have tried re-installing the OS (over the old installation). This service just will not stay running.

Any suggestions, anyone?
