At my company we have old HDS Viewstations that use version 3.2 netos. Netos image files were on a windows nt 4.0 server and we moved it from there and put it on a computer that was upgraded from nt 4.0 server to windows 2000. Pointed Viewstations to the new server no problem. Here is the problem I had to reinstall our windows 2000 server and did a clean install, no upgrade. Moved the netos dir. back to the new OS install and viewstaion cannot connect to dir. Error message reads like this: [00+00:00:07] main2: Unable to Open Configuration File [%netOsdir%/config/windows_ica.cfg] Now this first error comes up also on Nt server but loads the os fine. This second error only appears when I try to load the image file on a clean windows 2000 server. Error message reads: [00+00:00:12] main: Unable to Open Configuration File [%netOSdir%/netos/image_u/i960/v32.bin] Last error :[00+00:00:12] main: Network Server Code download failed
All the settings are the same nothing has changed exempt Server versions. I have moved the dir to a NT 4.0 bdc and it works fine. Move to 2K servers does not work? Any ideas? Thank you for your help in advance. -Jimmy
P.S. I have already check Permissions on the share. Still no luck…
