Netscape Navigator and DUN

I have a client who runs Netscape v4.7x on a Windows 98 machine. Netscape has “lost” the ability to use the default Dial-up Networking entry to dial the ISP and browse the Internet. This can be done manually by first clicking on the DUN icon and connecting, then starting Netscape.

I have seen this before on other machines. Does anyone have a solution to allow Netscape to automatically dial using the DUN entry? Can the “hook” to the DUN entry be re-established?
