NETWORK CARD PROBLEM

I have a dual boot (win 98 and nt 4 SP6) Partitioning is as follows. C: 125M for boot files
D: win98 (fat32) e: winNT (NTFS) The box has a 3com 3c905b TX NIC that works just fine in win98. In NT, I loaded the driver from the 3com site with the /diag switch. The nic diags pass ok. (Nic test and network test) When I install the card from the network “Adapter Add” the driver loads and NT tells me “Card not found in system” Several hours and many re-re-reboots later. HELP?
