Network connectivity problem

by jainash25 . Updated 25 years ago

We have 2 DHCP NT servers with IP Pools of 192.9.201 and 172.16.2 . Our Win98 based PCs obtain their IP through these DHCP servers.

The problem being faced is that the PCs getting IP adresses from the pool 172.16.2 appear in the network neighbourhood but if we try to access these PCs from PCs having IP from 192.9.201 pool, we get the message

” PC_Name” is not accessible, the network path was not found

However, if we use IP to MAP/Connect PCs of pool 172.16.2 from PCs of 192.9.201 pool, we don’t face any problems.
