network neighbourhood

Hi,
When I go to “network neighbourhood”, many times I am not getting the directory listing or the directory listing is partially available. Inorder to get the same, either I have to go through “Tools – Find – Computer” option or reboot the system itself.can anybody help me in resolving this.
