Network (Peer) WinXP Pro & win 2000

I am trying to network my Win XP Pro and my Win 2000 and am having no luck. I use a dialup modem and 2 printers on the XP computer. I want to be able to use myprinters from the 2000 computer. Any information would be helpful.
