New drivers for Epson Scanner 1250

I am attempting to install an Epson model 1250
perfection scanner to a computer with XP operating system. XP will not accept it as it is
not signature approved. I went around the signature required approval, but it still would not accept it. I cannot locate an updated driver
thru Epson library. Someone please advise me
where I can locate a driver that allows XP to
accept the scanner. I realize it is 2 years old
or so, but thought surely there must be a driver
that will get me thru this…..Thanks much.
