NIC settings on a DNS server

by homer simpson instructor at large . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I configure DNS on Windows 2000 Server, what should the settings be on the NIC for DNS on the DNS server. I see by default it is set for loopback. Is there any reason why I wouldn’t want to change that to my DNS servers IP address. if you change it to the DNS servers IP, you can’t replace it with the loopback address. ANY IDEAS??
