No Cd roms in Explorer

using windows 2000 professional, have 1 cd reader drive and 1 CDRW drive, Both show up in bioz, and in device manager but neither show up in windows explorer, also adaptec ez cd creater does not show the CDRW. CHecked in device manager and both have drivers installed and is functioning properly. Why can’t I see it in windows explorer or access the drives at all?
