No ide or cd in device manager

I have just bought a new case motherboard and cpu. I fitted my old hard drive floppy and cd rom.
The Pc boots up ok but is in compatibility mode. There is no “Noide” to delete in the registry and in device manager there is no ide, harddrive controllers or cd roms. If I go into safemode all the devices seem to be there so I have tried deleting so windows picks up on reboot but it doesnt. I am still left with these missing in device manager.
Please help.
