No Sound

I’ve been trying to reinstall a sound card driver, but cannot, no matter what I’ve tried (Windows update, Service pack 2 etc.) This has happened after upgrading from Windows 98SE to Windows XP Pro. I would have thought XP would have found all the drivers, but not this one. It’s a Sis7012 driver. Can I get help with this?
