Good Morning.Gurus,Have a network @ home for studies.Created a 2 domain on nt server 4.0.Trusts are established & broken as study
continues.my two quick questions,
1)I have not installed any new applications,last night just changed the log size to4mb on pdc as exercise on network traffic,now my server does not restart or shutdown normally,i have to ctrl+alt+del to force restart or shutdown.My 2 opinions are there is an open app or a fail mapped drive?
I dont have either.Any one has any thoughts?
2)I am having a horrific time installing modem on this one pdc on 2nd domain.I finally got it to installed the software last night.This server dual boots W/win2k.I am able to dial out to isp.When i connect to isp on winnt40 i get a message to pick up my handset & dial operator.At this time i have free isp (netzero).my other server is capable
of dialing to same isp without a problem.ANY
HELP OR EVEN ANY THOUGHTS WILL BE WELCOME.
