Users in our environment have been given new user accounts in a new domain. When setting them up to use the new accounts I have been copying their old profile to there new profile giving them all of their old settings and environment. This has worked well for everyone except for users that have IIS installed on their system. Now when using their new accounts they are not able to administer IIS 4.0 using the MMC. Here is the message they see.”an error occured while reading or setting parameters (80090016)”. After clicking OK the Ftp and Web services appear to be stopped but Control Panel indicates that they are still running. I’ve determined that the problem is caused by copying the ntsuser.dat from the old profile. A solution would be greatly appreciated.
