Novell Client and Windows XP

We are using a Novell Server 4.11 and Novell Client 4.83 with Service Pack 1. We have not had any problems with the client using Windows 2000, however with Windows XP after opening several Apps the operatoring system locks up with some users. If I remove Novell Client 4.83 this same user has no problems. After installing Novell Client 4.90 SP2 the OS is working well also. Now the problem is after logging on under Novell Client 4.90 SP2 I also get the Windows Workstation logon screen and must logon to the local computer as well. Under Novell Client 4.83 SP1 I don’t get the second local logon screen, however I have problems using Windows XP Operating System. Any ideas out there?
