Hi, just a quick question, has anyone ever had an instance whereby the Netlogon and services on a Windows NT 4.0 server running SP6 hangs, and hence stops advertising shares on that server. This is becomming an everyday occurance for me and the users are starting to complain. It seems to happen after a SAM replication has taken place with the PDC, and as the server in question is a BDC this replication happens quite often.
The only resolve I have found to date is to stop and restart either the server services or the netlogon services, but this has the effect of then disconnecting users currently logged onto shares on the server.
I have looked through Technet and it suggest that maybe the secure channel betwwen the PDC and BDC may bethe problem. Can anyone help me.
